Please note

Respect for the environment

In Auroville, we make every effort to respect the environment we live in by reducing the use of one time plastic and using bio degradable products. During your visit to Auroville, we would like to remind you to bring your own water bottles, which can be refilled on the spot with our dynamised water. The Visitor Centre provides you with picnic spaces. Please bring your own reusable containers rather than plastic bags which fill our bins unecessarily. As we also follow the government's sanitary procedures with social distancing and wearing of masks, we strongly recommend that you use washable masks. Please help us reduce our carbon footprint!
